I made my 147 similar to my board from last season. I shortened it up by one centimeter and softened the flex a little to help make technical jibbing a little easier. The 154 is the third board I've designed for Forum. I've found out a lot of things that go into board design. I took last year's board and added a few things that I thought could help with my type of riding. I made the overall width a few millimeters wider for more stability, but at the same time I increased the side-cut depth for tighter carves and better control in the pipe. I experimented with a quadratic fiberglass to reduce chatter and to add some extra pop to ollies. I switched from stock inserts to the Slider System for exact stance placement and easier binding adjustments, and included the FMB-8100 top sheet for shock absorption.
